All SymplyLTO Rackmount SAS drives are fully compatible with Linear Tape File System (LTFS) software that enables a familiar drag and drop interface, allowing users to move files to tape storage in the same as they would with a conventional hard drive solution. LTFS can also reduce the need for specialist backup/archive software, allowing different users to easily interchange data on Mac, Windows, and Linux operating systems.
