Sales Account Manager - REF: 466407

A great opportunity to join a growing business specialising in the Professional Audio Visual market. Proactive are a leading supplier of AV equipment with fully authorised accounts for the leading manufacturers in the industry. Based in a busy sales team in our Hemel Hempstead office the successful candidate should have at least 2 years’ experience in the industry and will benefit from an excellent working environment, state of the art showroom, friendly and enthusiastic team and a generous commission structure rewarding sales growth.

Salary: Competitive & negotiable.
Location: Hemel Hempstead Office

Main Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales targets through existing and new channels
  • Developing and maintaining client relationships through excellent account management
  • Managing client data, updating client records within CRM
  • Working with the Technical Support Team for general client activities, demonstration days, promotions, marketing campaigns etc
  • Assisting with strategic activities / target growth
  • Providing telephone assistance and advice to clients
  • Performing product demonstrations both in house and on customers site where applicable

Key Attributes:
  • A proven track record in sales
  • To communicate effectively with people at all levels
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • A good knowledge of Pro AV technology (additional training will be provided)
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and helpful approach
  • Quotation experience

  • Good oral and written communication skills with strong eye for detail

Human Resources Advisor - REF: 469409

Proactive UK Ltd are an experienced supplier of broadcast and professional video equipment.  Our clients span the entire communications market and we owe this success to an outstanding team of people who share our passion for technology.  As ProAV grows we’re looking for more people who want to join our team and break into the very top of this remarkable sector.  We are a friendly and lively bunch of 32 team members.

  • Job Title:    Human Resources Advisor
  • Department:     Human Resources
  • Location:     Hemel Hempstead
  • Position reports to:     Managing Director
  • Employment type:     This is a permanent part time role based at our premises in Hemel Hempstead.  We are looking for between 15-20 hours per week.  This role can be over three, four or five days per week, we operate Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm.

 

Main purpose of job:

  • Employee Relations – act as a point of contact for employee queries, providing advice and support on HR policies and procedures. Managing low level employee relations cases from end to end, absence management, performance management, family leave, well being, disciplinaries, grievances etc.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding – Assist with the recruitment and selection process, including drafting job descriptions, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, conducting references checks. Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation.
  • Performance Management – support the performance check in process, providing guidance to managers and ensuring timely completion of check ins.
  • Compliance – keep up to date with employment law developments, ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations, maintain employee records using SageHR and HR documentation in accordance with legal requirements.
  • Training & Development – Assist in identifying training needs and coordinating training programs for employees.
  • HR Projects – Participate in and support various HR projects and initiatives as required, contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Coaching and Mentoring – coaching and mentoring managers on HR best practice.
  • Sales Support – occasional support to Sales Account Managers in HR related bid policies.

 

The successful HR Advisor should have:

  • Proven experience in a similar HR role;
  • Ability to manage multiple HR tasks and projects effectively;
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion, high level of integrity and professionalism;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office applications;
  • Detail orientated
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team;
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent is preferred.

  • Produce, film, and edit captivating video content for our YouTube channel
  • Collaborate closely with our Head of Technical Marketing, Content Creators, and Graphic Designer
  • Support events and workshops across the UK, bringing our brand to life in the real world
  • Stay ahead of the curve by evaluating and informing our customers about the latest industry products
  • Elevate our brand’s online presence through innovative content strategies


About you:

  • A strong background in camera operation, lighting, and sound
  • Experience with video editing software, preferably Davinci Resolve
  • A strong interest in professional video technology and products
  • Confidence in front of the camera for product demonstrations and interviews
  • An independent work ethic with a hands-on approach to problem-solving
