Flat base - to have more options for shooting on sliders, jibs or other accessories.

New easy link connectors - comes with Manfrotto anti rotation technology and Arri pin. The pan bar attachments on both left and right sides of the head give maximum flexibility. On the left side a cap, that cover 3/8” easy link connector, to avoid cutting during the use.

Sliding quick release plate - sliding plate attachment side-lock mechanism allows safe, quick and easy camera attachment, keeping video equipment stability and balance.

New fluid technology - The variable continuous fluid drag system is powered by a new fluid technology, which sets a new level of performance in the Manfrotto range, boosting the smoothest and judder-free pan and tilt movements.

Brakes - Independent brakes on TILT and PAN axes. The 504X increases the capability of keeping the heavy equipment safe, stable and in position.

Bubble level - The back bubble level lets you level the heads even in low light conditions.
