The Hague Camslide Drive carbon fibre camera slider will automatically pan the camera whilst you concentrate on the sliding. This ingenious design makes it so much easier to pan and slide at the same time as you only have to concentrate on the one movement.

Made from lightweight carbon fibre the Hague Camslide Drive has a smooth design and provides a smooth slider movement too. Measuring 80cm in legth it is an ideal length for working with but also a good size for travelling with. Supplied with its own transit bag the Camslide Drive is an ideal camera slider for many situations.

So what’s so special about the Camslide Drive? Well it’s the peculiar looking bar down the centre that makes all the difference. This is the unique drive capability which allows the user to set the slider so it auto pans the camera as you slide along the rail. With a variety of adjustment, you can create both small movements or wide ranging pans as the camera moves along.

How to operate the Drive
To operate the Drive system simply adjust the angle of the centre rail and then, as the carriage moves along the rail, it will automatically pan the direction of you camera on the ball head or video head. Please note we would not recommend trying to tilt the camera at the same time as using the auto pan mode but you can set the ball head or video head at a tilted angle.

The carriage has a larger seating area which makes it ideal for mounting ball heads or video heads and it incorporates 4 roller bearings for a smooth slider movement. The carriage has a 1/4" screw and a 3/8” adaptor which makes it ideal for mounting ball heads and video heads. There is also a spirit level included within the carriage.

The rail is made from lightweight carbon fibre rods and the 80cm length is a very good working length but is not too big for transit. The new style end supports are supplied with adjustable feet which fold up to make the slider compact for travelling and can be used at different angles when on slightly uneven ground. The slider has a mounting plate which allows it to be mounted onto a tripod via both the 1/4” and 3/8” camera screws.
