A unique focal length and a bright design, the Sigma 65mm f/2 DG Contemporary Lens is a long-normal, short portrait-length prime offering a uniquely versatile field of view for portraiture and selective everyday shooting.
Sitting between the typical 50mm normal focal length and true telephoto designs, this 65mm offers a narrower perspective that still retains enough context for everyday shooting. Coupled with the bright f/2 maximum aperture, depth of field control and available light shooting is still possible, too.
- Contemporary Line lens features a compact design that measures approximately 7.1 x 7.6 cm and a weight of just over 396 grams, making it portable enough for everyday shooting needs without compromising on optics or speed.
- Internal focusing design pairs with a stepping AF motor for responsive and fast focusing performance that's suitable for both stills and video applications.
- Optical design includes one SLD element and two aspherical elements, to optimize sharpness and limit aberrations, and a Super Multi-Layer Coating that controls flare and reflections.
