Gefen 1:4 DVI Splitter – with Power Cord for EU territories
DVI (Digital Visual Interface) is a common connector used throughout the industry to connect digital video displays to video sources such as computers.
Gefen’s 1:4 DVI Splitter is a distribution hub that sends the same DVI graphics source to up to four DVI digital displays (flat panels or projectors). It is a reliable solution that accommodates four digital video displays at the same time, creating a multi-viewing environment that maintains the highest resolution video at all times.
The Gefen EXT-DVI-144N 1×4 DVI Splitter distributes a single DVI source to up to four DVI dual link outputs without losing quality or resolution. It works with any dual link DVI computer supporting internal, downstream, and custom EDIDs. This product can be placed on a shelf or other horizontal surface, or be mounted in a standard 19-inch wide rack, using the included rack ears.
Video Support
Resolutions up to the highest DVI single link resolution of 1920 x 1200 are supported.
- Supports HDMI Ethernet Channel (HEC), which consolidates video, audio, and data streams into a single HDMI cable, combining the unmatched signal quality and convenience of HDMI connectivity with the power and flexibility of home entertainment networking. It incorporates a dedicated data channel into the HDMI link, enabling high-speed, bi-directional networking at up to 100 Mb/sec.
- Supports the HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC), which enables a TV, via a single HDMI cable, to send audio upstream to an A/V receiver or surround audio controller, increasing user flexibility and eliminating the need for any separate S/PDIF audio connection.
- Supports HD resolutions up to 4K (4096 x 2160) in sharp, vivid Deep Color with up to 8 channels of embedded digital audio
- Tested and certified up to HDMI Category 2 (340 MHz)
