Laowa 15mm f/4.5 Zero-D Shift lens is currently the World’s Widest Shift lens for Full Frame cameras. The amount of shift is ±11mm. The lens is perfect for architectural and interior photography. The sky-high buildings can be captured in a corrected perspective easily.
World’s Widest Shift Lens
15mm f/4.5 Shift is the widest shift lens for full frame camera. The angle of view is 110 degrees, and it has a huge ⌀ 65mm image circle. It is even wider than the currently widest shift lens from Canon , TS-E 17mm f/4L TiltShift Lens. The wider perspective offers great deal of flexibility for photographers to capture architecture and interior shots when space is limited (Cannot stand back further).
±11mm Shift Amount
15mm f/4.5 Zero-D Shift has ±11mm shift amount for photographers take control on the perspective or expand the angle of view (by stitching multiple images).
Large Image Circle
The gigantic image circle not only allows the lens to shift by +/- 8mm in full frame cameras, it can also be used on medium format cameras (e.g. Fujifilm GFX / Hasselblad X1D) The max possible shift for full frame cameras vertically is ±11mm for full frame camera and ±8mm for medium format camera. This is also currently the World’s Widest lens covering Fujifilm GFX sensor with no vignetting. The Canon 17mm f/4 TS-E is very popular among GFX community and we expect our 15mm will follow the same.
Outstanding Image Quality
15mm f/4.5 Zero-D Shift is composed of 17 elements in 11 groups with 2pcs of aspherical glasses. A new lens coating has also been implemented and a significant improvement on the chromatic aberration, flaring and ghosting control are observed.
Stunning 10-point Sunstar
The 5-bladed aperture creates stunning 10-point Sunstar rendering.
360 degrees Rotation
The rotation function enables photographers to change the direction of shift by rotating the shift mechanism. The mechanism can be rotated through 360 degrees. The lens clicks every 15°. This feature helps photographers to shoot in both landscape and portrait orientation.
