Rycote PCS-Utility Half Coupler Kit Large
The Professional Connection System (‘PCS’) is the ingenious new quick attachment/quick release connection system from Rycote. Mount your microphones, shock mounts, windshields and lighting accessories to trusses, scaffolding poles and other rigging apparatus safely and securely with the PCS-Utility Kit.
The PCS-Utility Kit comes equipped with a Rycote Half Coupler, designed to be attached at almost any point on a truss, specially developed for trusses with 32-35mm tubes (small kit) and 48-51mm (large kit). The included 3/8”-16 bolt screws directly onto the PCS-Utility securely and damage-free for the ultimate quick release rigging kit.
The PCS-Utility is made from high-quality materials; with milled anodised aluminium on the exterior for a lightweight but robust body, ensuring durability even in the most challenging conditions. Stainless steel and glass-filled Nylon on the internal components for a grease-free and super strong locking mechanism.
Insert and ‘click’ in the included anodised aluminium 3/8” male tip to connect any accessory with a 3/8“ thread for an auto-locking attachment that is completely secure and noise-free in operation. The fitted Hytrel® washer increases the tension and ensures a tight fit, reducing the chance of loosening.
To release, the PCS-Utility has an extra secure ‘twist and pull’ unlocking mechanism for a safe and secure one-handed operation. The knurled finished of the PCS-Utility ensures a firm grip, even with gloves and improves operation in low light situations.
