Swit S-4610 SDI Audio Embedder
Portable Audio to SDI Embedder
S-4610 is a portable mini SDI audio embedder that supports digital audio or analog audio to embed, and SDI up to 3Gb/s. It’s widely used in broadcast field production and professional audio/video conversion and transmission.
Input and Output
S-4610 provides:
- 1x 3G/HD/SD-SDI input
- 1x AES/EBU digital audio input (2-ch)
- 2x 6.35mm analog audio input (balanced)
- 2x New embedded 3G/HD/SD-SDI output
- (If both AES/EBU audio and analog audio is connected, only AES/EBU audio can be embedded)
Embed Channel Selection By 6 Switchers
The S-4610 can embed 2-ch audio to any 2 positions of SDI first 8 audio channels. User can select the channel number to be embedded by the 6 switchers on the front panel of the product. And on the rear side, S-4610 provides the description of the 6 switchers for reference.
Status Indicators : Power / Input / Output
The S-4610 provides 3 LED indictors, to check if the power is connected, if the SDI input is recognized, and if new embedded SDI outputs.
Power Supply
Pole-tap DC input
The mini converter is powered by pole-tap DC socket.
The package includes an AC-DC power adaptor, and you can also connect DC cable from 6-18V batteries.
Heavy Duty Housing
The S-4610 mini converter adopts unibody aluminium alloy housing, strong for field using and protects the audio/video connectors effectively.
Installation
S-4610 provides the bottom 1/4-inch screw threads for fixing on cameras, and an installing plate is supplied in the package, for fixing on wall and binding the BNC/audio cables.
