Gareth Edward's latest sci-fi blockbuster 'The Creator' was bought to life by cinematographer's Greg Fraser and Oren Soffer using the Sony FX3 as their main unit camera. Their challenge was to make an $80 million film feel like a $150-200 million film. To achieve this they turned to lightweight and affordable filmmaking tools in order to work faster and be much more efficient when working.

The Sony Alpha FX3 is the perfect camera to enable this workflow due to the small size and high native ISO. Paired with an Atomos Ninja to enable Prores RAW recording and the DJI Ronin 2 for camera movement, the FX3 became indispensible to the production.

The director explains; "These new cameras shoot at 12,800 ISO.
