The Vinten bluebridge Small Camera Adapter for Vision blue, blue3 & blue5 Heads is an accessory camera plate for Vision blue tripod heads that extends the lower weight range of the head. This allows you to use cameras that would otherwise be too light to use on the tripod head.

The bluebridge adapter features a 1/4"-20 mounting screw and pin assembly, that you attach to your camera in lieu of the sliding balance plate. It then slides into the camera platform, and you secure it just as you would the sliding balance plate. The adapter raises the camera, creating a higher center of gravity, allowing you to effectively use lighter cameras with your choice of Vision blue, Vision blue3, or Vision blue5 heads.

• The Vision bluebridge accessory extends the lower range of payloads for each Vision blue system.
• It raises your camera above the platform allowing lower weight cameras to be used that would otherwise be too light for the counterbalance system to balance perfectly.
• It fits into the same dovetail channel on the tripod head as the sliding baseplate, simplifying attaching the adapter to your tripod.

Available Vision blue heads normally support cameras weighing between 4.6 to 11.0 pounds, the bluebridge adapter extends that, allowing you to use, and counterbalance, cameras that weigh between 3.3 and 11.0 pounds.

Available Vision blue3 heads normally support cameras weighing between 6.6 to 14.6 pounds, the bluebridge adapter extends that, allowing you to use, and counterbalance, cameras that weigh between 4.6 and 14.6 pounds.

Available Vision blue5 heads normally support cameras weighing between 12 to 26 pounds, the bluebridge adapter extends that, allowing you to use, and counterbalance, cameras that weigh between 9.2 and 26 pounds.
