Full-frame sensor. Up to 6K/60p in-camera recording
The ZR cinema camera comes packing the resolution—and the frame rates—to take on any shoot. A Dual Base ISO of 800/6400 is available, and the sensor’s wide 15+ stop dynamic range is maintained at both base ISOs for maximum detail.
Renowned RED colour science and a wealth of codecs
Whether you need 12-bit RAW for post-production, or efficient codecs for fast turnarounds, the ZR delivers. An exclusive R3D NE codec from RED allows immense freedom in post and lets you match ZR footage with video shot on a RED camera system.
Large, bright, Vari-angle touchscreen monitor
The 4-inch on-camera monitor covers the DCI-P3 colour gamut and boasts a generous 16:10 display format. Functions are controlled with soft, quiet screen taps, and you can load up to 10 3D LUTs for viewing on the monitor while filming.
In-camera 32-bit float audio recording
You can capture 32-bit audio using the camera’s internal mics, or a compatible external mic. The dynamic range is so vast, you’ll be able to record sound freely and adjust the levels in post without clipping.
