The FM Mount Projection Attachment 18°-36° (PJ-FMM-18-36) is an all-new optic specifically developed for NANLITE FM mount LED spotlights. It allows gaffers and cinematographers the ability to precisely place a clear and even beam exactly where they want it. This versatile projection attachment offers a 18° to 36° zoom range with excellent edge control and a significant increase in the fixture’s illuminance.

Outstanding Light Quality
The high precision optical design uses aspherical glass to achieve sharp edges and even illumination, with consistent performance right across the zoom range. The aspherical optic
minimizes aberrations and helps to achieve the excellent 97% beam uniformity and 96% CCT accuracy, with only 3% distortion (measured at 18° beam angle). The advanced lens coating improves light transmission and aids colour accuracy, ensuring minimal colour shift. The matte black inner barrel reduces internal reflections and stray light for a sharper beam.

Precision beam adjustment is achieved via a large, easy-to-access zoom ring. The projection attachment has its own yoke that enhances the balance and stability when combined with a fixture. It also allows the setup to tilt significantly downward. Each part of the design aims to make it the perfect option for a wide range of professional lighting applications.

Impressive Intensity
The FM Mount Projection Attachment 18°-36° effectively concentrates the beam, greatly increasing the fixture’s illuminance by up to 21 times. It is fully compatible with FM mount COB fixtures.

Versatile Control
When compared to regular fixed-angle projection lenses, the FM Mount Projection Attachment 18°-36° offers significantly greater flexibility and creative control. The adjustable beam angle allows users to fine-tune the size and focus of the light without needing to swap lenses, saving effort and critical time on set. Importantly, the lens barrel supports 360° rotation, allowing rotating the gobo projection or shutter cuts with ease.

Built to last
The housing is primarily made of aluminium alloy with nylon components, making it suitable for long-term use on set. The yoke enables the fixture to tilt significantly downward and mount on stands with either a junior receiver or a baby pin.

Multiple Light-shaping Possibilities
The built-in shutters precisely shape the lighting area, while the gel frame slot allows for easy gel insertion. The kit includes a proprietary-sized gobo holder and four gobos, as well as a universal M-size gobo holder for broader compatibility. Like the existing FM Mount Projection Attachment with 10°/19°/36° Lens (PJ-FMM-10/19/36), it is compatible with the optional 18-blade iris diaphragm (PJ-FMM-AI).

Secure Storage and Transport
A premium padded carrying bag with protective lining is included. It fits the projection attachment snugly and provides excellent shock protection during transport.
