The 12–25mm lens can capture more of the visual spectrum than human eyes can see, and the perspective effect of ultra–wide angle can draw attention to the foreground while enhancing the depth of field and tension.
Additionally, the exceptional optical design makes it possible to significantly control the distortion when shooting at maximum wide-open aperture, making it ideal for creating majestic and surreal images.
With a minimum focusing distance of 0.4m (15.74’’), less than one arm’s length, the lens enables you to shoot tighter close-ups in limited space environments with the curvature of field being significantly controlled, creating a more subjective perspective by bringing the audiences closer to the characters and immersing them in the story.
Deeper DOF and wider FOV captures broader wider background. Rendering the atmosphere, clearly showings the relationship among subjects, characters and surroundings. Expanding distance between objects and background, reflects the artistic sense of space.
