With the new B4 lens mount for broadcast lenses, it can deliver up to 440fps! Your main cameras can also be high-frame-rate cameras, perfect for live sports and replay. You still get the large format RGBW 36x24mm sensor and 16 stops of dynamic range. It also works with the new URSA Cine Studio Viewfinder for a complete studio camera solution.

Introducing the World’s Most Advanced Digital Film Camera!
Blackmagic URSA Cine is a revolutionary digital film camera platform combining advanced technologies with total integration into the latest post-production workflows. It's the first digital film camera with high-speed network storage built in and high-speed networking for cloud sync. URSA Cine introduces new large-format RGBW sensors with larger photo-sites for incredible dynamic range. You can swap between PL, LPL, EF and B4 lens mounts. Plus, URSA Cine can output live SMPTE-2110 IP video for cinematic live production. There's even WiFi and SRT streaming for remote client viewing! Industry-standard LEMO and Fischer connections make it perfect for high-end cinema production.

Two Cameras in One!
The world's most advanced digital film camera can now also be used for live production! That's like having two completely different cameras in a single design. Live broadcasters can finally achieve the same stunning cinematic quality once exclusive to the film industry. No other broadcast camera can match the dynamic range, frame rates and colour science of Blackmagic URSA Cine. Because it handles both film and live production, you can keep the camera busy with whatever kind of work you want.

Perfect for Feature Film and Post Production
When set to record, the camera captures Blackmagic RAW to the media module. That's perfect for film shoots as you retain the full dynamic range of the sensor, so colour grading can bring out the richness of every scene. Plus, real-time proxies can be recorded and synced to an off-site post-production team. You can also connect a DaVinci workstation to the camera's 10G Ethernet for on-set grading.

Add Cinematic Quality to Live Production
When the camera is set to SMPTE-2110 Live in the menu, it instantly transforms into a live studio camera! You get real-time SMPTE-2110 IP video from the 10G Ethernet connector, supporting up to 2160p60 with cinematic quality and 16 stops of dynamic range. That’s well beyond traditional broadcast cameras. Plus, the 100G model outputs live video up to 440 fps for amazing slow-motion sports replays!

The World’s Most Advanced Digital Film Cameras
Get all the features of URSA Cine 12K with 100G Ethernet for SMPTE-2110 live digital film up to 440fps. Large format RGBW 36x24mm sensor, 16 stops dynamic range, optional PL, LPL, EF and B4 mounts.

Cinematic Large Format Sensor
Featuring a revolutionary new sensor, Blackmagic URSA Cine delivers incredible image quality at all resolutions from 4K to a massive 17K! Building on the original 12K RGBW Super 35 sensor, the new large-format design features larger photo-sites, delivering an astounding 16 stops of dynamic range! The unique RGBW architecture provides equal amounts of red, green and blue pixels for incredible colour super sampling, optimized to deliver rich colours at all resolutions and provide the ultimate in image quality and flexibility. Now you can capture more detail with a wider dynamic range than ever before! Plus, in-sensor scaling means you can record at all resolutions without any cropping!

A Camera Body Optimized for High End Productions!
Blackmagic URSA Cine is designed to meet the demands of any high-end production. The camera body features a robust magnesium alloy chassis and lightweight carbon fiber polycarbonate composite skin to help you move quickly on set. Soft-touch backlit buttons make controls easy to see in all lighting conditions. There's a 5″ fold-out touchscreen for reviewing shots and accessing camera settings, plus a dedicated assist station on the other side of the camera, with a 5″ LCD and full camera controls! Standard LEMO and Fischer connectors let you control the camera remotely while providing power for lens motors and accessories. You also get 12G-SDI out, 10G Ethernet, USB-C, XLR audio and more!

Cinematic Large Format Digital Film
The large-format sensors provide the ultimate in flexibility for aspect ratios, lenses and delivery formats! The full sensor area of the 12K LF gives you a stunning 3:2 open gate image, while the 17K 65 model provides a cinematic 2.20:1 image. Both models let you use the large sensor area to shoot anamorphic and deliver in a range of aspect ratios with 1.3, 1.5, 1.6, 1.66, 1.8 and 2x de-squeeze factors. Plus, you can shoot in 4K, 8K or 12K using the entire sensor without cropping, retaining the full field of view of your lenses. The 12K LF model even has 9K Super 35 modes for full compatibility with classic cinema lenses. All this lets you create distinctive content in the highest quality!

Interchangeable Lens Mounts
Different projects require different lenses, which is why URSA Cine features an interchangeable lens mount. You can quickly switch between PL, LPL, EF and even broadcast B4 mounts! That means you can work with PL or LPL cinema lenses, or EF photographic lenses, making URSA Cine compatible with the widest range of professional lenses. Imagine using modern high-speed lenses for sharp, precise images on one shoot, then vintage photographic lenses for a period drama! Plus, each mount has contact pins to read lens metadata for monitoring and post-production. With Blackmagic URSA Cine, you have the freedom to choose the perfect lens for any kind of work!

Built in Monitoring and Assist Station
With multiple monitoring options, Blackmagic URSA Cine lets crews work faster on set! The fold-out monitor has a large 5″ HDR touchscreen on one side and an external colour status LCD on the other. You can even rotate the screen and fold it back into the camera! On the right side, there's a dedicated assist station with a second 5″ HDR touchscreen, allowing crew to work around the camera without needing external monitors. Plus, with a 1,500 nit display and removable sunshade, it's always visible even in bright sunlight. On-screen overlays show status and record parameters, histogram, frame guides and more. There's even a dedicated focus puller's mode to help you get perfect focus!

Rugged Industry Standard Connections
The wide range of industry-standard connections on URSA Cine make it perfect for high-end cinema production. The 7-pin LEMO and 3-pin Fischer connectors at the front provide record start/stop and 24V power, so are ideal for on-board accessories such as focus motors. Camera power is provided by a standard 24V 8-pin LEMO connection, plus there's an additional 2-pin LEMO 12V connection at the rear for lower-voltage accessories. All this means you can power accessories straight from the camera without messy external cabling! There are also two independent 12G-SDI outputs for monitoring on two different monitors, even with different overlays, plus 10G Ethernet for Blackmagic Cloud media syncing!

Get the Quality of Blackmagic RAW Recording
Blackmagic RAW is a revolutionary codec designed to capture and preserve the full quality of the sensor data from your camera. Files store camera metadata, lens data, white balance, digital slate information and custom LUTs to ensure complete image consistency on set and throughout post-production. Constant quality options lock the quality level, allowing compression to adapt and match the detail of the scene. Constant bitrate encoding options are designed to give you the best possible images with predictable and consistent file sizes. When Blackmagic URSA Cine records to the Blackmagic Media Module 8TB, you can get over 4 hours of Blackmagic RAW in 12K or a massive 20 hours in 4K!

Generation 6 Colour Science
Blackmagic Generation 6 Colour Science features numerous imaging improvements for the advanced URSA Cine sensor, with extremely accurate colour reproduction for natural and pleasing skin tones. The processing pipeline has been redesigned using 3D LUTs for film, extended video and video gamuts, so you can customize output by loading your own LUTs. The LUTs are applied after the colour corrector, so corrections are on top of full film gamut. You can output different colour spaces using preloaded LUTs including Rec. 709, 2020 and PQ, plus you can even customize the gamut compression! URSA Cine now has two 3D LUT processors for different outputs and an extra 3D LUT just for the SMPTE-2110 output.

Includes Built in Optical Low Pass Filter
The high frequencies of synthetic materials like fabrics or the LED matrix in video walls can cause problems for ultra-sharp modern lenses and high-resolution sensors, creating unwanted interference patterns. Using an optical low pass filter minimizes that interference, resulting in a significant reduction of moiré and aliasing. Blackmagic URSA Cine includes a high-performance optical low pass filter that is precisely matched to the sensor. The OLPF also incorporates updated IR filtering that improves far red colour response, which, when combined with the advanced Blackmagic RAW processing for the URSA Cine, preserves colour and critical image detail for entirely new levels of image fidelity.

Built in Colour Balanced ND Filters
The 12K and Immersive models feature built-in ND filters that let you quickly reduce the amount of light entering the camera. Precision designed to match the colourimetry and colour science of the camera, the 2, 4 and 6 stop filters provide additional latitude even under harsh lighting. The IR filters have been designed to filter both visible and IR wavelengths evenly, eliminating the IR contamination that many ND filters suffer from. Blackmagic URSA Cine ND filters are true optical filters with a precision mechanism that quickly moves them into place when the ND filters are selected. Filter settings can even be displayed as an ND number, stop reduction or fraction on the LCD!

Work at Higher Frame Rates
With the ability to shoot in 4K, 8K, Super 35 9K and even incredibly detailed 17K, Blackmagic URSA Cine is multiple cameras in one! You can shoot 100 fps in 12K 12,288 x 6,480 17:9 or 120 fps in 12K 2.4:1 widescreen! For higher frame rates, you can capture 144 fps at 8,192 x 5,360, 180 fps at 8,192 x 3,408 and even 8K 2.4:1 widescreen at an incredible 224 fps at 8,192 x 3,408! Only Blackmagic URSA Cine has such flexible frame rate and resolution options, with incredible motion rendering and smoother edges in 8K and 4K, even at lower frame rates. Plus, you can achieve even higher frame rates on the 100G Ethernet model when using a B4 lens mount and outputting SMPTE-2110 live video!

High Performance Internal Media for Recording
Blackmagic URSA Cine is the first digital film camera with ultra-fast, high-capability Cloud Store technology built in. Blackmagic Media Module is fast, rugged and includes a massive 8TB of storage. It's like a Cloud Store Mini built into your camera! The high-speed storage lets you record at the highest resolutions and frame rates for hours and access files directly over high-speed 10G Ethernet. Or you can use media you already own with the optional Blackmagic Media Module CF, which has dual CFexpress slots. The module can be easily removed from the camera and loaded into a Blackmagic Media Dock for transferring media to a network or to Blackmagic Cloud for instant global collaboration!

Load and Share Media Modules Using Blackmagic Media Dock
Blackmagic Media Dock accelerates your post-production workflow by making it faster and simpler to start editing and colour correction! Mount up to three Blackmagic Media Modules for high-speed access to media from multiple Blackmagic URSA Cine cameras, all at the same time! The base model has four high-speed 10G Ethernet ports, allowing up to four separate edit workstations to connect directly, while the Blackmagic Media Dock Ultra offers even higher performance with two incredibly fast 100G Ethernet ports that easily handle large numbers of simultaneous users. Both models also feature a video output that lets you monitor the live status of your media in real time on a TV or display.

Live Sync to DaVinci Resolve While The Camera is Recording!
Blackmagic URSA Cine records an HD proxy in H.264 alongside the camera's original media. The small proxy file can upload to Blackmagic Cloud in seconds, even live while the camera is recording, so your media is available back at the studio in real time. The ability to transfer media directly into the DaVinci Resolve media bin while editors are working is revolutionary and has never before been possible! Any editor working anywhere in the world will get the shots as they're captured! If you have multiple cameras, the new multi-source feature in DaVinci Resolve's Cut page will show each camera angle in a multiview. Blackmagic Cloud is a revolution in global post-production workflows!

Three Post Production Workflows!

1. Record to Internal Storage
Record to the internal Blackmagic Media Module or optional CFexpress module, then browse your clips and let the camera automatically sync media files to other users globally via Blackmagic Cloud.

2. Select and Upload Clips
If you're shooting offline, you can easily browse your recorded media later once you have internet access and manually select which clips to upload to Blackmagic Cloud for remote collaboration.

3. Live Sync into DaVinci Resolve
Log into Blackmagic Cloud and select a DaVinci Resolve project before recording. As the camera records, media will continuously upload and sync to all DaVinci Resolve users on that project.

Live Production Accessories

Blackmagic URSA Cine Studio Viewfinder
Transform URSA Cine into a live production camera with a large, bright 7" studio viewfinder. It features a touchscreen, so it works just like an extension of the camera and you can control all menus. Plus, there is a sunshade included and controls for brightness, contrast and focus peaking. Installation is easy as it connects and powers from the viewfinder USB-C port on the front of the camera.

Add B4 Broadcast Lens Mount for Live Cine!
The optional B4 lens mount lets you use broadcast lenses with Blackmagic URSA Cine 12K. B4 lenses are ideal for live production as they are electronically controlled and react quickly. Mount optics are matched to the RGBW sensor and a center-crop mode allows Ultra HD at high frame rates. Plus, an optional B4 control cable converts the camera's 7-pin EXT connector to the 12-pin Hirose B4 control.

Blackmagic URSA Live Encoder
The live processing module enables the Blackmagic URSA Cine Immersive 100G to be used for live immersive production. It encodes live video into ProRes for output as SMPTE-2110 IP video via the high-speed 100G Ethernet port, creating an entirely new live immersive viewing experience! Plus, the camera data rate is under 50 Gb/s, so you can combine two cameras into a single 100G Ethernet connection.

Connect to Mobile Data, High Speed Wifi or Ethernet!
When live streaming or uploading to Blackmagic Cloud, you can connect an Apple or Android phone to get internet access via mobile data. Simply connect the phone to the USB-C port and URSA Cine will automatically configure for mobile data. Plus, it works with the latest high-speed 5G phones, as well as 4G! You can also connect via high-speed WiFi or wired Ethernet using the 10G Ethernet port. With live streaming built into the camera, you get everything you need for clients and post-production to monitor shoots from anywhere in the world! That's a truly global solution that works with Blackmagic Cloud to bring together amazing teams of creative people all collaborating in real time.

Live Stream Directly to Your Client
Now you can live stream directly from film sets! Blackmagic URSA Cine features a built-in hardware streaming engine that supports both RTMP and SRT streaming to major platforms or directly to clients! Simply connect to the internet via Ethernet, high-speed WiFi, or even a 4G or 5G phone for mobile data! As the streaming engine is built into the camera, you can monitor stream status and data rate in both the viewfinder and LCD! To create a wireless link back to video village or the studio, you can stream to a Blackmagic Streaming Decoder, which is an H.264 decoder that converts the stream back to video. Now even a remote post production team can watch the shoot, live, while it's happening!

Built in Live DaVinci Hardware Colour Corrector
When using Blackmagic URSA Cine as a live production camera, you get a built-in colour corrector based on DaVinci Resolve's primary colour corrector. Now you can colour correct video live! You can use traditional controls for iris, black level and RGB colour tint, all available on the ATEM Camera Control Panel. However, you can go much further by using DaVinci Resolve control panels with trackballs, giving you separate control over lift, gamma and gain across Y, R, G and B channels. This powerful colour corrector, combined with the URSA Cine sensor's 16 stops of dynamic range, means you can create incredibly cinematic looks that are simply not possible with traditional broadcast cameras!

High Resolution Viewfinder for Accurate Focus
For accurate and easy outdoor and handheld shooting, Blackmagic URSA Cine supports the optional URSA Cine EVF! You get an integrated high-quality 1920 x 1080 colour OLED display with a built-in proximity sensor, a 4-element glass diopter for incredible accuracy and a wide focus adjustment range. A built-in digital focus chart ensures perfect viewfinder focus setup, and you can also view critical status information such as frame guides. The URSA Cine EVF is extremely easy to connect as it simply mounts to the included viewfinder bracket and connects to the camera using a single USB-C cable. The viewfinder can be positioned in multiple ways and comes with two different types of eyecups.

Compatible with Industry Standard Batteries and Power
Flexible power is critically important on busy film sets! Blackmagic URSA Cine includes an 8-pin LEMO power connector at the rear that works with both 24V and 12V power supplies, making it easy to use with your existing power sources, batteries and accessories! The front of the camera includes additional LEMO and Fischer connectors for powering lens motors and accessories. Plus, a massive 250W AC power supply is included and a B-Mount battery plate comes preinstalled, supporting 24V batteries from manufacturers such as BEBOB, IDX, Core SWX and more. Optional Blackmagic URSA Cine V-Lock and Gold Mount battery plates are also available for legacy battery systems.

Powered by Blackmagic OS
With advanced Blackmagic OS, you get an intuitive, user-friendly camera operating system based on the latest technology. It's a true modern operating system where all camera features run independently for smoother control, plus the camera powers on virtually instantly. Blackmagic URSA Cine features the same controls and menus as other Blackmagic Design cameras, so you can move between cameras on set easily. The interface uses simple tap and swipe gestures to adjust settings, add metadata and view recording status. You also get full control over advanced features such as on-screen focus and exposure tools, 3D LUTs, HDR, metadata entry, timecode, Blackmagic RAW settings and more!

Digital Slate for Fast Metadata Entry
Blackmagic URSA Cine features a digital slate so you can quickly add metadata to any shot! Simply swipe left or right on the built-in touchscreen to bring up the digital slate. When you start and stop recording, the slate automatically increments take numbers so you don't have to enter them manually for each shot! You can also set your reel numbers to increment automatically each time you format a card. Lens metadata is automatically populated or can be entered manually, along with production specific and technical information. All of the metadata is saved with your files for use in post production when editing and colour correcting with software such as DaVinci Resolve!

Get Full Wireless Bluetooth Camera Control
If you're positioning the camera on the end of a jib or gimbal, you can get full remote control via Bluetooth from up to 30 feet away. Simply download the Blackmagic Camera Control app for your iPad or use third-party apps such as Bluetooth+ or tRigger on your iOS and Android devices. There's even a free developer SDK with sample code available from the Blackmagic Design developer website, so you can create your own custom remote camera control and digital slate solutions! Imagine building an app that can jam sync timecode and trigger all of your cameras to record at the same time. Whether you're a developer or a creative professional, the possibilities are truly endless!

Localized in 13 Popular Languages
Because cameras travel the world with you, Blackmagic URSA Cine is designed to be used by international crews and creative teams, supporting 13 different languages! When setting up your camera, you can choose to work in English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Polish, Russian, Ukrainian, Turkish, Chinese, Japanese or Korean. It's easy to switch to another language at any time, so you can share your camera with international crew members even on the same job. When you switch languages, all on-screen overlays, setup menus and monitoring information are instantly displayed in the selected language, making it simple for anyone to operate the camera.

Get Everything You Need with Complete Camera Kits!
With Blackmagic URSA Cine, you can buy a complete kit with everything you need to get started on set, or choose a lower cost body-only model and add your own accessories! The kits come in a rugged Pelican case with custom foam cutouts that precisely and securely fit the camera and its accessories. The PL lens mount comes preinstalled on the camera body, plus you get an interchangeable locking EF or LPL mount depending on the model. You even get a massive 8TB Media Module preinstalled and ready to record. Also included is a top handle, high-speed WiFi antennas, baseplate, power supply and B-mount battery plate for quick set-up. There's also an alternative kit that includes the URSA Cine EVF!

ATEM Camera Control Panel
When you need to control Blackmagic URSA Cine cameras for live production, the ATEM Camera Control Panel is the perfect choice, letting you control four cameras simultaneously. It uses traditional CCU-style controls, and each channel can easily change its camera number, so you can control many more. The panel connects to any ATEM switcher, which then controls the cameras. A large iris control dominates the panel, moving up and down to adjust the camera iris. Rotating the knob sets the black level, while pushing it routes the camera to the aux output for monitoring. There are also knobs for red, green and blue tint, plus controls for ND filters and tally feedback for the on-air camera.

Blackmagic StudioBridge 10G PWR
Blackmagic StudioBridge 10G PWR is designed to bridge low-cost, single-link 10G Ethernet SMPTE-2110 connections into high-end, redundant 100G Ethernet-based systems. This means you could connect the 10G Ethernet from 8 separate Blackmagic URSA Cine 12K LF cameras into a 100G Ethernet SMPTE-2022-7 redundant connection! Or you can connect any 10G Ethernet-based SMPTE-2110 video product into a pair of redundant 100G Ethernet connections, all working in HD or Ultra HD up to 2160p60. Although Blackmagic URSA Cine doesn't power from its Ethernet port, the converter provides 90W of PoE++ power on each port, so you can power equipment such as converters directly from their Ethernet connections!

Blackmagic StudioBridge 100G
Blackmagic StudioBridge 100G bridges a single 100G Ethernet SMPTE-2110 connection to a redundant pair of 100G Ethernet connections, for when large broadcast systems use two IP video networks for reliability. This means the single 100G Ethernet connection on the Blackmagic URSA Cine 12K 100G can be converted into two redundant connections and to two separate Ethernet switches. You can also connect two separate cameras if the combined total bandwidth doesn't exceed 100 Gb/s! This lets you interface two URSA Cine 12K 100G cameras when running 240 fps or less. There is also a separate 10G Ethernet bridge for camera accessories, a dedicated NMOS control port and dual redundant power supplies.
