BirdDog O4 is a professional outdoor PTZ camera engineered to perform where others fail. Its die-cast, IP66-rated chassis operates from –40 °C to +60 °C, with a built-in heater to prevent condensation and hydrophobic, smudge-resistant lens coatings that keep the optics clear—no wipers required. The result is dependable, year-round operation in rain, dust, snow, or heat.

Image quality matches the toughness. A 1/1.8" sensor captures 4K60 with accurate color, flexible gamma, exposure, and WDR controls. A 30× optical zoom (up to 60× in HD) brings distant action close, while a 500 m IR laser and automatic black-and-white night mode deliver true visibility when light disappears.

O4 is designed for clean installs. All connections are tucked inside a sealed undercarriage with built-in strain relief and three weatherproof flanges; power via PoE++ for single-cable simplicity or use external DC. Connectivity is uncompromised: 12G-SDI, HDMI, and SFP+ fiber cover production and infrastructure needs, while the streaming stack lets you run Full NDI® and NDI® HX3 at the same time and output NDI alongside SRT, RTMP, or RTSP for parallel deliverables.

An advanced AI tracking engine provides adjustable motion profiles—from fast and responsive for sports to smooth and graceful for events and worship—so subjects stay framed naturally. O4 fits seamlessly into the BirdDog ecosystem with BirdUI, Central, Connect, and Keyboard (KBD), and it is NDI 6.2-ready for future upgrades.
