The Sony Shotgun Mic Cable is intended to connect Sony ECM series microphones with 3-pin XLR outputs (such as the ECM-674), into the 5-pin XLR inputs on the front of video cameras.
A mono microphone signal is fed into both channels of the camera.
- Used to connect Sony ECM series mono shotgun mics with front of camera 5-pin stereo mic inputs
- Connects a mono shotgun mic to both channels of the camcorder's stereo mic input
