The Sony F-112 is a high-quality dynamic microphone, specifically designed for field production and newsgathering applications.
Superior Sound Quality
Incorporating a newly developed omni-directional microphone capsule, the F-112 delivers a high sensitivity of -52 dB (0 dB=1 V/Pa.), allowing clear voice pick-up from any direction.
Flat-and-wide Frequency Response
The F-112 has a flat-and-wide frequency response (60 Hz to 18 kHz), which provides smooth and natural sound reproduction.
Robust and Sophisticated Design
The F-112 has been designed with special considerations for heavy-duty field use. The body is made of metal, offering a high level of durability to withstand severe conditions encountered in demanding sound pick-up scenarios. The connector side is made of robust brass for repeating cable connections. In addition, its well-balanced design allows comfortable handling when used with the plug-on transmitter included in the Sony UWP-C3 package.
