Allen & Heath Mixer ZED-24 (UK)
ZED-24 is a 2-bus live sound mixer with 16 mic/line channels, USB stereo interface and USB stereo interface and Allen & Heath's acclaimed MusiQ EQ — accessible analogue mixing for bands and venues.
ZED-24 features a 2 in / 2 out USB audio interface with flexible send options — Main Mix L+R pre or post-fader, Auxes 1–2 or Auxes 3–4. The USB return comes back in on a dedicated stereo channel for playback and monitoring.
The preamps on ZED-24 provide a huge 69dB of gain — enough for low output dynamic microphones and quiet acoustic sources — while keeping noise and distortion to a minimum. Gain is evenly distributed throughout the control for precision at all levels.
The MusiQ EQ is designed for musicians, with carefully optimised curves and a sweepable mid frequency for a simple, responsive 3-band EQ that works equally well on stage or in the studio.
