PortaBrace POL-GYHC550 Thermal-Lined Protective Camera Cover
The POL-GYHC550 is a custom-fit cold-weather, “Polar Bear” cover for the JVC GY-HC550 camera.
The POL has a black nylon fabric exterior and is thickly padded with high-loft insulation to keep your GY-HC550 Shoot Ready® and functioning properly in cold temperatures. The interior is lined with a temperature-stabilizing, phase-change material (PCM) that helps keep warm air in the camera chamber. Air-activated hand warmers can be placed inside the case to maintain proper shooting temperatures in extremely cold environments.
There is an attached insulated lens cover that helps prevent condensation from forming when bringing the camera in from the cold, it also creates an extra layer of protection from scratches when transporting the camera.
Touch-fastener strips line the interior of the Polar Bear for arranging optional air-activated hand-warmers. All openings used for operating the camera are enclosed with cotton cuffs that keep cold air out and hands warm.
The POL-GYHC550 has three sets of zippers that make it simple to put the cover on and take it off. The cover can be used during hand-held recording or when the camera is on a tripod.
